1998 I'm in the SLC library. Set down at a table and reading through a couple books. I notice a guy walk up and stare at me. Guy with him said we will go set at another place. Fifteen minutes later I go look for other books. I see this book my father gave me a few years prior. But this copy is a first addition, has photos. So I grabbed it to thumb through. Out of my peripheral I see a big hand. He was getting my attention telling me he has read this book. My first impressions I made a judgement about him being less than. As he walks around to my right side he goes verbatim on the book that would have trouble paraphrasing. He waddles off palms up "I read all the books" I got the vibe he sensed that I judged him and then showed he is more than. Immediately after that interaction happened another gentleman approached me and said excuse me but do you know who that was. I said no he said have you seen the movie Rainman? I said wow. Then asked if the guy with him is Tom Cruise. We laughed. He then told me all the years he has seen him in there never had he seen him approach someone and start a conversation. I got goosebumps as soon as he told me that. The weirdest thing was immediately after that the for book that a looked at said how to improve your memory.

I’m not even sure what the concept of happiness would have appeared as to Kim, but I truly hope his life was filled with it. His abilities were almost supernatural, and he seemed like a really sweet soul.

Very little info on multi octave course guitars beyond the standard 12 string. Even looking for any info on 18 strings brings up these psuedo harp things metal guys use. I think I saw a 16 string mandolin once and it looked mental to play. Cant imagine what a 24 string guitar would sound like. The 18s sound like the ocean.

Totally stumbled on this video via RUclips algorithm. Ms. Macy (even as an adult I feel odd calling her Robin 😂) was my teacher in Dallas, TX. Then in high school I was her “Sherpa” for the outdoor program there. It was such a privilege to know her and learn from her back then! She said no one wants to be remembered for what they did in the past. But people watching this should know what an amazing, positive influence she was as a teacher!! I am happy to see her finding joy. I hope that even though I am seeing this 11 years after the video posted, the joy has persisted!! 🙏

I worked at 2 different places where sub-minimum wages were paid. PRIDE Industries and Goodwill Industries. Subminimum wages are good if you just want money to go out to dinner, to the movies or to get a cup of coffee. But, for me, I want to go on vacations, like on cruises all over the world! I know sheltered workshops are good for socialization, but not for people serious about working and a career.

Dr.s. What do they really know ? There's so much More to learn about the body human and animal. And hospitals avoid music therapy like the plague even though it's beneficial to healing. Sure some know how to save lives. They also know how to Ruin lives. 🌱
